I think it is finally fair to say that we have crossed the boundary of Winter and Summer. With the clocks giving us an extra hour or two of daylight each day and the mercury continuing to rise, there is a real buzz of excitement as we all ditch the jackets and work on our t-shirt tans. This season, I’ve started to incorporate polo shirts into my wardrobe for that extra smart touch and Crew Clothing have a great collection of colours to choose from. It is the ultimate mix-and-match selection that means I am never short on options.

Each day usually starts with coffee at my laptop. Layers are key for any early start as I like to sit outside if the sun is shining, so I have paired a Crew Clothing Ashton Blazer with this Classic Navy Polo and a pair of Chester Five Pocket Trousers. Navy and Sand are a classic colour combination that is guaranteed to look smart, and the outfit is finished off with a pair of Crew Clothing Brogues. More formal wear means a more formal mind, and I genuinely believe that putting on a smart blazer and a smart pair of shoes gets me into “work mode”.

As you may know, a huge part of my life involves me being on the go with a camera in tow; usually snapping other personalities and the world around me. Ditching the blazer, this Crew Clothing Classic Sky Polo adds a lighter touch of colour to proceedings. If I need to get even more active or the mercury rises even further in the afternoon, I ditch the chinos completely; a Classic Pink Polo or Classic White Polo paired with these Crew Clothing Bermuda Shorts providing a comfortable, yet smart, option for summer styling.

When the evening draws nearer, I have my final outfit; longer cropped jeans again paired with a splash of colour. I don’t actually wear purple very often, but this Crew Clothing Classic Parma Violet Polo sits very well against a canvas of white, and I even managed a colour co-ordination with a friend’s door down the street. Again, the inclusion of the polo collar means this isn’t as overly formal as a shirt, but certainly fits better than any t-shirt in my wardrobe. It also completes the rainbow of colours that now occupy my wardrobe!
