Apart from being a great source of Vitamin D, European sunshine provides the perfect opportunity to break out the neutrals. Whites and greys look infinitely better with a healthy dose of sunlight and they form the basis for this lookbook.
Usually you’ll find me wearing long-sleeves, something I’ve sworn by for years, but River Island may have me converted with this White Linen Short Sleeve Shirt. I love the fact that the slim fit cut keeps the shirt close to the body, while the linen material keeps you cool as the mercury nears thirty. It comes in a number of different colours (all look brilliant), but I decided to keep the colour palette close to white with this look.
On the bottom, this pair of Striped Day Shorts from Abercrombie & Fitch keep the look casual. They are a step in a different direction for me as I’ll usually favour a tailor-cut, but these offer a bit more room for manoeuvre; essential when you’re pounding the Barcelona streets in search of the perfect location.
Finishing off the neutral theme, these Grey Tassel Loafers from River Island are a great addition to my summer wardrobe. I rarely choose to go so neutral with my outfits, although, who needs to shout so loudly when you’re in a location as good as this?
