Grey Suede Tassel Loafers – River Island

Part Three of my Spanish lookbook comes from the dizzying heights of Castellar Castle that towers over the Andalusian landscape. Several hundred steps lead to a small village within the castle walls; a maze of brilliant white walls punctuated by small colourful doors and a variety of flora that any top florist would be envious of.

Sporting a slightly more active wardrobe in this shoot, let’s start with the feet as they did the most work. These Light Grey Suede Tassel Loafers from River Island were a great option for the ascent; they look incredible smart but have a flexible feel with decent grip on the sole. I’m not saying you’ll be scaling Everest or pipping Usain Bolt to the 100m finish line but they do a great job while looking fairly formal.

Straying away from my usual choice of block colour, the Grey Print Belted Smart Shorts from Burton help to break up the dulcet tones of the tee and loafers. They come with a smart and unique belt with the webbed material replacing any holes; meaning, for once, they are truly one-size-fits-all. Winner. Finishing off the outfit is the Tonic Scoop T-Shirt from All Saints; a veteran in the wardrobe, if truth be told. They are a good fit and the fairly thin fabric is a saviour when my internal body temperature loses the battle to the Spanish sunshine.

Part Four of the Spain Lookbook is coming to the blog soon, but in the meantime you can check out my YouTube video of the entire Spanish campaign here. Let me know what you think!
