There are only a handful of places on the planet where a Flamingo-printed Shirt blends in perfectly with its surroundings. Off the rail from British designer Simon Carter, I decided against trialling this shirt in cold autumnal Britain and instead whisked it off 10,000 miles to the Philippines. The tropical atmosphere of Minoloc Island in El Nido provided the perfect catwalk for this unique piece.
The shirt itself is of real quality and substance and is actually fairly tailored in fit. While it felt like a bit of a sin to leave it open in the intense heat, I do believe that this is the perfect way to wear it. Vivid pink birds perfectly aligned on an off-white cotton are complemented by pink shorts and, yes, an outrageous pink cocktail. As the Filipinos would say, Mabuhay!
