There is something so satisfying about buying a unique pair of shoes. I always feel that they complete an outfit, and the right pairs of shoes can add those extra points to the “how good is this outfit?” scale of one to ten. You can imagine my delight then, when I stumbled across these silver shoes from Zara Mens.
As part of my Plus Minus Magazine shoot, I paired the moccasins with more subtle colours. Silver can be a difficult colour to compliment, but I feel that these slim fit white trousers from H&M create the perfect canvas for that wow factor. Keeping the outfit fairly minimalist is this plain navy v-neck tee from Zara. Less is sometimes more and when you have a statement piece, it is best to let that do all of the talking.
It was fun to try new colours against the backdrop of a rather dull and grey city. These shoes could equally be at home paired with a cropped suit or darker tones. Now that silver has been ticked off the colour palette, it may be time to start searching for some gold…
