It is official. The layers are off.
When the heavens stay closed, Spring has to be one of my favourite seasons. Warm days and longer evenings present the perfect opportunity wear smart outfits that aren’t quite as comfortable when the mercury starts to rise in July.
Dirty Velvet are a brand that are tailor made for the rebel Gentleman. Their iconic print tees are slightly edgy but still have a vintage feel. If you’re looking to sit on that fence between looking dapper and standing out from the crowd then this is a brand for you.
In this outfit I am wearing the ‘Royal TV‘ tee which is a little political in tone but from a design perspective contains a strong bold image.
Now I still like to keep my look sharp so I paired the tee with this deep blue Zara blazer. It has a thick lattice texture that adds texture to an otherwise fairly flat upper half of the outfit.
Also in this outfit are my trusty tailored maroon trousers, also from Zara. I opted for the sock-less look (slightly pushing my luck in single digit temperatures) to complete the outfit, wearing these silk Treep slippers from Ted Baker.
